Having spent most of my career working in various aspects of the ministry, it has always been counseling that I enjoyed most. It presents you with a true opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people going through challenging experiences. It takes courage for an individual to seek help and support. I’m committed to making the process as comfortable and rewarding as possible. Together with my clients and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can work to find the truth in the scriptural promise that God works all things to the good. Romans 8:28
I graduated from the C.W.Post campus of Long Island University with a B.A. and a minor in Psychology. During graduate school at Trinity Seminary, I worked in the TriCHrist drug counseling center and completed the required course work in Pastoral Counseling. I graduated in 1982 with a Master’s degree in Theological Studies. Since then, I have volunteered in women’s ministries and led many retreats dealing with spiritual growth and Christian life. During my years on the staff of Advent Lutheran Church and as Co-pastor of Shepherd’s promise, I had the privilege of counseling and encouraging many parishioner’s through various challenges and struggles. LifeLight is the fulfillment of my dream to devote myself to the Pastoral counseling Ministry. |
